Presently, broadcast engineering and daytime presenter, KCLR.
Day-to-day I manage the technical operation of a commercial radio station, also presenting the station’s afternoon show – KCLR Drive – weekdays from 3pm.
With over 15 years industry experience in web development, I’m also overseeing the digital operations of the station with a focus on driving revenue from online opportunities, digital marketing and content generation.
Keep up with what I do design-wise at kenmc.ie. My love of podcasting is slowly gathering steam via kenmcguire.ie and my love of food can be explored at kenonfood.com.
There’s always the photography too. And since 2006, myself and John Morton have been string-pulling The Devious Theatre Company.
Art-wise I’ve previously served on the boards of Young Irish Film Makers and the Watergate Theatre.
The old blog
In the heady blogging days in Ireland of 2005-2007/8, this was a rather active blog, primarly focused around technology. I leave the posts here as an archive to the past.
kenmc.com is a collection of musing on technology, design, digital life, photography, culture, gaming and more, stretching back to 2006.
After the first few years it becomes quite stop-start as interests expand and wane.
Let’s Talk
That’s the simple bit. Pop a mail to ken@kenmc.com, or find me on Twitter, Instagram or LinkedIn.
