KENMC V3.0

Ok colour-loving and hating people… lets have your feed on this one! Spent an hour or two throwing this theme together, finding colours that work and match, something simple and bright that removes the oppression derived during the week.

Oppression! 😉

Anyway, food for thought is this theme. The header background is based on the ‘A New Spring’ theme, which is used over at Your Daily Feed this is my completely wild derivation of it, which I’m quite proud of actually. Maybe a little bit of work to do on the sidebar, but the Stylesheet is pretty much sewn up.

Try find half life now why don’t ya! With a little bit of A/B testing in mind, your comments and crits are sincerely appreciated!

I dont think anyone cares about the theme.. We want to hear what you have to say though!

lol….. i actually like this one better than the dark colours. spent a little more time tweaking it after watching 4 episodes of American Dad back-to-back… removed the background colour of the side bar and I think it works pretty well!

    yeah.. this is nicer!

woohoo. glad you approve. i think it shakes off that “halflife” look about it.

guess this means that my computer games retailing career is in tatters, eh keith?

I like it a lot, especially the logo banner. From a nit-picking point of view my only concern would be that the link colour might be a small bit “cold” in comparison to the logo (if thats even possible, I’m not sure!)Maybe something closer to a #006f2c would help?? But yes, much improvement. I giggled at 3.0! sigh, i need a life!

nice one on the hex, you’ll see the effect of it in the sidebar. surely warms it up a little it alright!

thats an excellent resource. I will have to tweak my design too, add a bit of colour!

aye, your own one is quite nice as it stands mind you. just have to get back to the blogging 😉 the whole css thing you’ve got going is a massive improvement on the original design!

Looks like I missed a couple of iterations of this one. This works for me Ken.

On a related topic I do not like the ebay advert across the top of main column – but then I don’t like adverts from anyone in that position in any blog.

Always manages to break the effect of the blog visual design in one of the first places that ones eye is drawn to.

    IMHO as ever 🙂
